Ouval Research is a local brand name of a street from a holding company named CV. Ceylon Industries. Formed on June 1, 1997 which originated from the thoughts of his idealism founders wanted to produce products that are creative, flexible and can reflect the lifestyle of young people.
Initially Ouval Research products inspired by a community sports skateboard (skateboarding) is a community that is not just a sport but also become a way of life. Then the idealism of thought is derived in the form of dress styles that can be used by local and international community.
Research Ouval always trying to create something new in both the product and movement. Innovation has become one of the fundamental pillars from the beginning. It continues by creating something different and unique, where it represents the company's values ​​and commitment that is reflected through the word "research". 

Therefore, Ouval Research will never stop to think about and explore. Trying to break through the boundaries between dream and reality. Trying to reconstruct and always find new forms to meet the needs of youth culture will street style.
This spirit is also the underlying implementation of research and observation by the Encyclo-Technology Division Research & Development division of the Internal Ouval Research on life style and street culture in several major cities in Indonesia. A study which gave birth to a conclusion to expand / extend the network with the official opening stores outside the city of Bandung.
Previously, Ouval Research official store has been present in Bandung (2001 & 2003), Jakarta (2006), Padang (2008), Makassar and Yogyakarta (2009) and Surabaya (2010).
Exhibition Room # 5 Research Ouval Official Store Jakarta has existed since 2006. Began to operate exactly on October 12, 2006 with the name of Ambience Room # 1 which is located at JL. North Tebet in South Jakarta No.26.
Ambience Room is a miniature of the Exhibition Room. Called miniature because of its size and position of the smaller stores are boarded at other stores. But after nearly 4 years of existence at the store the "sister"-Gummo Shop, the Ambience Room # 1 transform into Exhibition Room # 5 in September 2010.
Concept Exhibition Room # 5 is designed specifically by the Encyclo-division GraphiX Division Internal Creative Research Ouval that emits a unique atmosphere typical of Ouval Research. Philosophy who want to be shown that the Exhibition Room can provide inspiration for consumers to shop and see art work graphic is available at stores that have a broad area 109.25m2.
As a heating stage to introduce the store location and atmosphere, on 3 September 2010 organized a promotion program named SOFT LAUNCHING.
